What happens if we slowly extend the boundaries while still keeping its primary function intact. For example, a built space where the interior elements define the facade. One such attempt was mine in this project of designing an interactive jewellery designing work(place) where the tarred street from outside extends into the interiority of the building, acting as an extended public space as one move from the outside in. This is a small step to include the community in an art and creative centered work place.
